: The 328Ci ground clearance is about an inch less.
: The 328Ci overall height is about an inch less.
: The 328Ci is about an inch longer overall, and an inch wider overall.

: You lose about an inch of headroom (front and rear) and an inch of rear legroom in the Ci. I am 6'3" and have no problem with the headroom. The Ci front legroom is .3" greater. Rear shoulder room in the Ci is about 1.5" less. The Ci has 6.4 cubic feet less of overall passenger volume, and 1.2 cubic feet less cargo volume.

: The "sport" suspension is stock on the 328Ci. What the "sport" package adds on the Ci is:

: 1) 17" Wheels. 8.5x17 tires in the rear, 7.5x17 tires in the front. The tires are Z-rated on the 328Ci sport package.

: 2) Sport seats. These have a little section on the front of the bottom part that extend out for a thigh support. They also have more pronounce side bolsters in both the bottom cushion and the seat back.

: The folding rear seats are stock in the Ci.

: Insurance may be a consideration depending on your company. Coupes take a beating in certain instances. For, the difference was only about $120/yr.

: Of course, the Ci is faster, looks better, corners better, gets better mileage, and is far more reliable. That's why I chose it. :-) - They are identical on each of these parameters.

: Enjoy. There is not an incorrect choice here.

: : I'm curious to see what people think about these two cars. Would love to hear from owners. Specifically looking at getting the sport package. On the 328ci, I believe the car is already lower than the 328i, does the sport package make it even lower? Does one car handle or perform better than the other with the same equipment? The 328i is less wide than the coupe. I test drove a 328i with the sport package and it was terrific. There wasn't a 328ci at the dealer with a sport package for me to compare. I also wonder if anyone has had any luck getting this car for under $1000 over invoice.

: : Thanks
