I just received my new BWM 323 CI earlier this month from CarOrder.com with only 265 over invoice price. The configuration program made a mistake and didn't charge me of the leather option when you also order heated seat. Paid only 31045 for HK, Sports, Power Moon roof, Leather and Metallic color. Got a CD changer from the dealer after the car arrived. The dealer actually pointed out to them the pricing mistake and they still honored my price. The dealer told me that CarOrder sent a check of $3400 to him for my car!Currently, I can still see quite a few bugs in their 323 configuration program. For example, somehow power moon roof is not charged when you select sport package. Also the 6-way power seat is not charged...
However, the service from carorder is excellent and I got my car after only 1 month I ordered (they found a car quite close to what I've ordered). The final invoice price was a bit higher than what was in my virtual gargage and after I called them, they prompted sent me a refund.
Hope everybody finds his/her dream car.
Rock on!
: The carorder web price listing for a 323i, metallic, sport, folddown seat, Xenons, in-dash cd, on board comp. is: $31,070 for an MSRP of $31,510, a cool $3,130 OVER invoice of $28,380! This is no bargan. This is a good 1000 higher than two weeks before (now expired, of course.) Is this the result of the loss of dealer holdback or carorder's early loss leaders to get into market?
: I think I will wait until demand drops before I order.
