Transmission problem article in Bimmer mag April (archive)

Well.. guess I'm not the only one with the automatic transmission problem. I just bought the April 2000 issue of Bimmer magazine and some one else wrote a letter regarding problems with their transmission. I got my car in June of '99.. and that's the same time period the other person got his car. I'm wondering if there was a bad batch of transmissions made that were placed in e46's during that time of production. My transmission still slips a bit between 1st and 2nd gear.
