No window tint in Canada? (archive)

I was thinking of getting a 328i Very soon. One last item I asked the local dealer about(in Whitby, Ontario)
was tinting. He indicated they do not have this as an option. Sounds stupid, what good is AC without window tinting? Any GTA(toronto) area people get a different story from a local dealer? Also a 3 month wait! Ouch.
