I've driven Acura/Honda for many years..after swearing that I'd never drive anything not German. Originally, Honda/Acura was producing some hellcat type of cars, and it looks like they may return to that fold, but the past few years I've found them to have grown a bit soft.

The Acura dealer who took me through the TL test drive, volunteered to me that there would be no deal making. Now, it is a lot of car for the money and it is in demand, but to just put that out there without my asking was annoying. Then I asked about a color choice, and he told me I didn't really have a call in that either, he could sell whatever was on the lot. This coupled with the fact that my last experience with Acura wasn't sterling drove me to Audi, Mercedes, VW and even Lincoln....and I decided BMW.

A) the dealer here is tremendous, we're talking amazing!
B) I've loved bimmers as long as I can remember
C) the 3 series is available in a manual and I hate automatics
D) the car is really so much more connected to the road and driver
E) no attitude...so...

I concurr with another poster...if you are sitting on a freeway in So Cal with clients, consider the TL...otherwise, if driving is your pleasure, life is short...go BMW
