i own both the '00 acura tl and 00 323i. Two different cars, my wife drives the tl because it's an auto. I,on the other hand, would never drive an auto bmw. You immediately feel the difference in both the interior and exterior, tl accord like exterior, but a magnificent cabin(the nav system is fabulous, better than bmw). I don't have the nav in the 323 though:(
But a BMW is what it is, a driver's car. I just bought the 323 last week and put about 500 mi on it already. Make excuses in the middle of the night just to drive it. Beautiful exterior, great interior(though not as refined as the tl) but still luxurious. In conclusion, the car with the most bang for your buck(nav, and fully loaded) would be the tl, but as classy and fun as the 323i is to drive, the bmw only parks on my side of the garage. Good luck! You can't go wrong.

Forgot to mention, both have been very relable, not maintenence trips yet.

: I've never had a BMW. Test drove the 323i and liked it a lot. Also like the Acura TL. Anyone else compare the two? Your thoughts are appreciated.
