Question about 323i back seat (more) (archive)

I was wondering if anyone elses e46 sedan is like this: The lower part of the rear seat the part you sit on) behind the driver seat can be pulled up quite a bit. Mine can be lifted a few inchs and the seat feels very light. The rear seat on the passenger side does not come up, it seems to be bolted down more securely. Can anyone give me some feedback please.
