I would NOT have 'em repaint the panel. I'd have them do a good touch up were they wet sand the touched up spots to make them flush with the rest of paint. BTW...as soon as you drive the car on highway it will have a million chips in the paint on the front end. This is all a side effect of the newer water bourne paints that BMW uses, they are no were near as resistant to chips and swirls as the older paints (pre-96). So generally, if paint chips bother you, then you should probably NOT be buying a post 95 BMW.
