: I had actually ordered the 540i bfore I bought my 328i. I found the overall handling and agility of the 3 series more to my liking. I found the 5 series the best car to have if you need to commute the freeways at a high rate of speed. Both are great cars...you can't go wrong either way. I guess overall, I'm more used to the smaller car, not having children around anymore. If you're 6' 2" and carry passengers, go with the 5 series...far more rear seat room.
: Either way...enjoy...nothing drives like a BMW!
