The 5 with the sport setup is an awesome handling and riding car. I don't think the 5 can manuever as quickly or with the confidence of the 3 with the sport setup. The difference in size is noticable when manuevering. This is not to say that the 5 is not world class because it is. If you go to the 540 or M5 then the added horsepower makes it more fun then the 3. I would not say the 528 is more fun then the 3. Better ride and room yes, a better driving experience would depend on what you are looking for. They both offer fun, ride comfort, handling, safety, and luxury but to different degrees. When you get to the 5-V8's, the added power pushes the driving experience past the 328's, in my opinion. Either way they are great cars, top of their class.
