Any possibilty of getting aluminum trim for my E36 (archive)

I absolutely love the look that the aluminum trim gives off with black leather in a E46. Did BMW leave any similarities in their design from the E36 to the E46 so that the trim would be compatible. Or will I have to venture in to the world of aftermarket products to get the look I am searching for?
