Finding a car with Nav is going to be real difficult... Most BMW Centers will not order it for stock... Good luck, -- Jon
: : Alright,
: : After "Nothing But Trouble," with Demi Moore and Chevy Chase, I have wanted a BMW. It was all chopped up, but got them out of a fiery oil field.
: : My questions are few, and I hope you can anser them for me. This is the first time I am buying a car on my own, and I want to lease. What is the difference between leases and financing, besides with one you own the car, and the other you turn it in every so often for a new one?
: : Also is it simpler to take a car off of the dealers lot, or order my own Bimmer? I do not want to wait 12+ weeks for it, but want this expieriance to be as pain free, and enjoyable as possible.
: : Also how is the full function computer on the Navi do? Is it all worth near 2k?
: : Thanks
: The Nav system is great and the computer gives you 8 functions instead of 4. If you travel a lot to big, unfamiliar cities, the Nav system is super. I lists everything from ATM machines to Restaurants to gas stations. Looking at the display is never a problem as the voice will guide you. Along with computer, you get readouts of the radio and tape/cd controls. I think it's great and very accurate.
: You might be able to get a slightly better deal on a car already on the lot but you might compromise color and features. I'm sure they would much rather get rid of the cars on the lots first, which have already come out of their allocation. My dealer has several 323/328's sitting around now for a couple of months. I'm sure they would love to sell them at a discount.
