I don't subscribe to the "My car's awesome, your car sucks" mantra like some people. I love BMWs and am saving for one. But in the meantime my Integra GSR sedan is a blast to drive, and you can't tell me it's got no soul when you're reving that engine to 8100 rpm and working that slick shifter - one of the best ever and in some ways better than Getrags. Accords, CLs, TLs etc are boring, but not Integras, and can't imagine the S2000 is boring, maybe YOU have no soul.
: Hondas are not pretty cars, they are functional. Even the S2000 looks decorated, not styled. They build great engines but until they drop the FWD platforms (s2000 excluded) I wouldn't consider one. The other thing that Hondas lack are a soul. I have driven many of them and I have yet to feel anything.
: Back to the CL. I haven't driven it but I am sure it would be too soft for my tastes, and without a manual...forget it. This car will compete more with a Toyota Solara, Chrysler Sebring, et al. These are luxury tourers, not sport coupes, meant for mass markets, not gearheads.
: Mick
