Electronic transmission control malfunction (m) (archive)

Since i installed the supercharger on my automatic transmission E46 3.28i,and full throttle my car in 4th, and sometimes in 3rd to redline, i get a indicator lamp, saying there is a malfunction in the electronic transmission control module.
Do you guys know why i am getting this warning?
Does it indicate i am hurting my transmission?
Is there anyway to by pass it...or slove it with some sort of ECU or DME software upgrade?
