It isn't as noticiable in a black car, but that is for the third brake light. The convertible doesn't have a permanent rear window so it has to have the third brake light reloacted- I think it is nicely integrated, much nicer than a hump on the trunk lid like other convertibles. Therefore, they had to shrink the Roundel to fit the light in. The convertible aslo has a longer trunklid because the rear window is at less of an slope due to the top.
