Short shift kit: any recent installs/comments? (archive)

I'm still thinking about getting one the short shift kits for my 323i. Prior posts range from those who love it to a guy who took it out because he couldn't stand it! So I was hoping to get more comments from those who may have recently installed one. Also, is the UUC kit the best choice?
