One thing I noticed was that with the left hand on the steering wheel in the 9 o'clock position, the horn was out of reach, which could be a hazard if someone's unintentionally cutting you off. (my right hand usually stays on the shifter in those "simple swerve" situations in case I have to gear down to pull away.

I agree, the horn is set kind of far towards the center of the wheel. I can reach it, but it's a stretch.
