I have a 1999 323i and i had a UUC short shifter put it. It was the sport revo. I love how it shifts, even though it is alittle notchier than and stiffer than the stock, the shortness is well worth it. Plus when you are driving fast and shifting on the freeways the shortness is awesome. When I sit in my friends M3, the stock shifter just doesn't feel good. But I think it is ultimately a personal choice. hope it helps.
