It consists of two pop-in trays that replace the front and rear ashtrays. It includes a plastic replacement for the cigarette lighter so the 12v. socket isn't exposed. You get slightly more storage space, if you can call it that. Both inserts together cost less than $25 from Cutter's if I remember correctly.

If you don't mind some sharp edges, you can simply pull out the ashtrays and use the cavities for storage.
