I recommend that you drive it.

I forget which road it is, hwy 58 I think, before Mojave, that is a great road for a BMW.

That particular stretch takes you over the hills/mount and down to the other side. Shouldn't be much traffic or cops from that point on to about Barstow. I did this journey in a Mustang but I remember thinking how great it would have been to have driven it in a BMW.
