Wheel locks (potentially dumb questions) (archive)

Some potentially dumb wheel lock questions. I know from
archives and accessory catalog that there are two kinds

(1) anti-theft which open with special tool
(2) lock-and-key version

Now the dumb questions based on staring at the pictures
in the accesory catalog
- The (1) kind are sold as a set of 4 but it is not
clear about the (2). The picture shows only two.
How many does one need to buy for the whole car ?
- Can one install BOTH (1) and (2) if one is paranoid
enough and assuming one needs only one of each on each
wheel ?
