: like the title says im considering purchasing a new sport type vechile, and was wondering which is the best.
The all wheel drive IX is coming out in a few months, might be the best of all worlds for you. Also, depends on how long you may keep the car. BMW's seem to hold up better than Audi's. The straight six in the BMW is legendary for going hundreds of thousands of miles. The turbocharged four in the TT seems unlikely to do the same. Also, ask about residual values if you lease. Whether or not you intend to lease, residuals tell you a lot about what the company thinks the value of their car will be in a few years. On my 328Ci, the residual was 10% higher than on an A4 2.8.
