There have been some accidents in the TT that people are attributing to "snap oversteer" and "instability" at high speeds. Audi, probably fearing a repeat of the "sudden acceleration syndrome" debacle, has resigned the TT in many ways including adding a rear spoiler to the car. The euro car mag Car recently had a side by side comparison of the two cars (original TT, new TT with "improvements") and basically they said the new one sucked. Basically Audi in their attempt to fix this problem (which they didn't, it'll still snap oversteer in a panic lift-off throttle, slam on the breaks maneuver) sucked all the life out of the car.
