: : LK mentions the noise.. but my last camera was the Fuji MX-2900 (2.3mpix) and it was a /LOT/ noiser than this one. The fuji couldn't focus in low-level situations.. this one does so beautifully. Check out my Mt Hamilton pics (just above). It was quite dark in the observatory, and the pictures of the telescope still came out very good. It's a little blurry because the camera was using 1/2 sec shutter time and I was holding it by hand.
