It might be a good quality polymer-based wax or something, but it isn't anything you couldn't do yourself for $10. These systems have been around forever. I was convinced long ago that "Polyglycoat" was a good deal on a new 78 Celica. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either. Funny part is, to keep its warranty in effect, you have to apply a "rejuvenator" every few months. At least you could do that yourself, but, again, it was just more wax. These things are just high-profit items for dealers. They probably pay about ten dollars per car for it and spend an hour applying it, using cheap labor. So, you pay whatever they can convince you to pay for a $50 wax job.
