as non-sports. BMW's in general are more rigid than other marks (read: mercedes). They are made that way so you can feel the road, and so they will corner well. In fact, come to think of it, you are getting a two door model, which has the sport suspension standard on all models, the only difference is low profile tires on the bigger wheels. There's probably an imperceptible difference in ride firmness between the two. IMO, the biggest difference is in a sport pkg car, the steering is a bit more responsive, due to the thicker anti-sway bars and low profile tires. In your case, the tires will be the only difference and I think you'll be happy with the better (more responsive, connected) steering on a sport pkg car. Plus the wheels look nicer...let's face it, the alloy wheels are nicer looking than the black rubber tires, so the more wheel you see the better. :-)
