: I have not been able to see blue ragtop only the black. I was unsure how it looks and if it would do better with the steel than black. I am concerned that the sand or gray for that matter will show dirt and scuff marks etc. I know that I may have to work at it to keep it looking new...but hey thats part of the fun of a new car. I often think it would be easier to not be able to pick your own colors and just learn to like what the dealer had in store. I like the lighter colors although the sienna red/tan has tempted me quite often.
: If you got a chance check out this link and let me know what you think of it after seeing the combos.

: i>: : Suze thats my concern also that it might look bland. This was the demo car my dealer and I thought most dealers initially got a few months back. What are your thoughts about the sand..it def it a contrast but I question the look of the steel blue ext, sand interior, and then the black top. Have you driven the car in any signif. heat yet? Looks great by the way.

: : : : : Cic owners or preowners what do you think looks best on the convertible in steel blue...tan or gray since I have ruled out black. Tan seems to have a nice contrast while the gray seems to blend more. Your ideas are most appreciated.

: : : : To be honest..I think the gray would be bland with a Steel Blue Cic..I think the black interior would be stunning...I don't think the black gets hot at all..the only option I regret not getting is the heated seats..worth the extra $$ IMHO..

: : : : 00 Cic LYM, Blacktop, black ette, Xenons, CD, PP, Hardtop....

: : I think I would definately pick the sand over the gray.. there was a silver Cic, black top, and gray interior at my dealers...the gray was very bland with the silver...and I really think it may be the same with the steel blue..Sand wouldn't be bad with the steel blue and the dark blue top, I saw an E36 with this combo and it looked sweet...sand shows dark scuff marks, black shows the light scuff marks, so that's a fact of life...I had my top down on an 80 degree day and left it down while I was shopping...when I sat on the seat (in shorts) I didn't feel like the back of my thighs were being burnt, it was warm, but I think it would have been with the sand as well...color choices are so hard, I empathize...when I was choosing my exterior color, I loved the light yellow metallic, but there were some negative comments regarding it. I was in a quandry until Val came to the rescue with pix and advice..drove to NH to see a LYM coupe, loved the color, and am definately not regretting it now. Go with what your instincts and gut tells you! There really are no bad choices, Steel Blue is a beautiful color especially on the Cic..are you set on the black ragtop? Or have you thought about the Dk. Blue as well? I'm excited for you, you are going to *love* your Cic!!
