I picked up my black/sand '00 323i last August off the Motorwerks lot (Bloomington). Sears Imported Autos is actually closer to where I live (Plymouth) but they didn't have a car equipped with what I wanted at the time. The only other MN BMW dealer is in Rochester. You might be able to get a better deal down there if the demand is lower. As for service, I (fortunately) haven't needed any yet, but Motorwerks seems like a good outfit and probably has a better technical staff than Sears since they sell/fix BMWs exclusively.
You are a patient man, Eric, if you're not going to purchase until next spring. But believe me (and most on this board), it will be worth the wait!
