2. Xenons- I know there is a lot of discussion on these. If you live in a city and only drive in the city I wouldn't bother, but if you are anywhere where there are no street lights (ie: the country) they are tremendous.
Not necessary (IMO):
1. Fold down seats- sure every once in a while there is something I would like to get in the car and the fold down seats would help, but every time I did it in my E36 (Two different E36s actually) no matter how many towels, blankets, etc, something always got scratched. The back of the front seats, the sides of the rear seats, was not worth the convenience.
I kept my E46 at just the Sport Package, Leather, Xenons, and Moonroof. It came in with the HK and that has been replaced with my own personal stereo equipment. I don't miss any other options that I did not get, most of which I had on other BMWs. If BMW is reading I do miss the Full Trip Computer that I had in my E30 and E34.
