Everything that people have said about the interior are true. It is really cheap feeling and looking. It is not up to Lexus' usual standard of refinement. My friend has a RX300 and the interior look, design, and features are really nice. The seats were confortable, but the diver position did not feel sporty like the BMW. It did not have the cockpit feel the BMW has either. Another thing that really bothered me is it felt cramped and felt much less roomy than the E46.

The tail lights look even worse in person. What I really didn't like is how they noticably wrap around the rear fenders. The front looks much better. Although, upon closer inspection the grill looks somewhat cheap. The wheels were cool looking and the tires were Bridgestone Potenzas.

I didn't bother driving the car, but I did talk to a guy who had just test driven it and thought it drove nicely. He did say that he was leaning towards the S4 and wanted to drive the 330i when it came out.

I went to the BMW dealer down the street to compare the look and feel of the Lexus and the Bimmer wins hands down. Heck, I'd take a used E36 M3 over the Lexus. However, the Bimmer dealer visit was torture. I ended up drooling over a Topaz 328ci. MMMMMMMMM. Bottom line is I can't wait until I get my Topaz 330ci.
