The IS300 is not a bad car but it is lacking in a number of areas. Most of which is the interior of the car. The interior of the car is sub par even for a lower priced Toyota. The mistake Toyota made, in my opionion, is that they went for engine rather than refinement and quality. They took the GS300 engine which is a car that costs $41,000+ and put it in a car that is $34,000. Simple economics tells ya that they have to cut areas in order to make up the $7,000 difference. From seeing the car they made those quality cuts in the interior. The plastics of the dash and doors is terrible. I'll stick with my 170 HP 323i and enjoy the refinement and quality rather than have 215 HP in the IS300 and feel like i'm inside a Celica.

: I never say IS300 is not a good car but I suggest that IS300 is only a Toyota. It is a Japanese car with a european looking only!! How can people compare a Japanese TOYOTA to a well known high performance European brand , BMW? WHO AGREED AND DISAGREED?
