Could Toyota have produced a truly Lexus-level interior for $2000 more? Absolutely. Could the IS aproach every single feature/quality of the 3 for $5000 more? Probably.

Maybe Lexus USA is reading the US market better than BMWUSA. Maybe Americans who go for the 3/C/IS class of cars don't really care all that much for luxury materials and features, especially when it means a $4K to $6K higher sticker. Or maybe Lexus USA has screwed up completely.

Only time will tell.

: Can't say the same about IS though...it's a dissapointment....should have kept the Toyota Altezza name....it doesn't deserve to be called a Lexus yet...
