I dont get it... (archive)

All the BMW dealerships here in Ontario tell me it will cost $800+ (CDN) to have the BMW factory alarm installed in my 323CiC...

However I can have a Clifford alarm installed with many many many many many many more features for around $500....

Can someone please tell me why in the world I would choose the BMW alarm? Is there something im missing?
