In Reply to: How much over invoice for a 740i (Sorry...) posted by John K. on July 09, 2000 at 21:02:06:

seriously, 7ers lose like 30% when u drive off the lot. CHeck out used 7er prices on the net and in your local papers and see for yourself. To me buying a new 7er just does not make any sense, unless I have too much $$ lying around my house that I was using $100 bills for toilet paper.

Did you consider slightly used 7ers advertised in the ROundel?

Steve

: Sorry about posting here- there's more traffic on this board, so I figured that I had a better chance of getting a response than the 7 board. I plan on buying a new 740i in the next 2 weeks-- how much over invoice should I offer? I may do Eurodelivery-- how much over euro invoice should I offer if I do this? How in demand is this car? I live in westchester county in New York State. Thanks for the help. The dealer I spoke to was basically offering $3500 over-- seems to high for the last model year. Thanks for your help and understanding.
