maybe you saw pics of Canadian cars? I'm curious to see what BMW is doing w/ the 330 (and the 325). The new "shark fin" antenna supposedly is only installed on cars equipped with the cell phone, but it seems no one is sure yet. As for the existing "stub" that comes on all U.S. E46s, I guess I've gotten used to it, even tho I don't need it (phones and safe driving don't mix, in my opinion).

: I went to a BMW dealer yesterday and I noticed that the 323Ci that I was looking at had a short (about 3" or so) funny shaped black antenna. I did not particularly care for the way it looked. I have seen pictures of E46's that have the antenna and some that don't. For instance in the BMW 3 Series sedan book none of the cars seem to have the antenna. (Of course all the cars in the book are sedans not coupes.) I was just wondering if this antenna is the BMW standard on the coupe or sedan or if it some sort of dealer installed option.
