I got a 328Ci in June and already the emblems in the front and back have been stolen twice! My car doesn't have an alarm. Does anyone know if the alarm would go off when the emblems are being ripped off? Would it help if I got an alarm installed? It doesn't seem as though much effort is needed to pull the emblems off (just stick a screw driver under the emblem and pop it off).

Anyone have any other ideas other ideas?

An alarm that has a proximity sensor(most of the higher end aftermarket alarms have one) should deter the jackasses, however you could end up spending several hundred dollars on an alarm and still have the same problem.
