The factory BMW alarm wont help you. However you could try getting an aftermarket alarm from a place like clifford or DEI which has a proximity sensor. Then when someone comes near your car and stays there for the amount of time you have defined, the alarm will go off.


I got a 328Ci in June and already the emblems in the front and back have been stolen twice! My car doesn't have an alarm. Does anyone know if the alarm would go off when the emblems are being ripped off? Would it help if I got an alarm installed? It doesn't seem as though much effort is needed to pull the emblems off (just stick a screw driver under the emblem and pop it off).

Anyone have any other ideas other ideas?
