The steering ain't no molehill. It's a serious problem affecting the fundamental character of the BMW driving experience. It reminds me of the 1975 Corvette I drove for a while in the early 80's -- rocket speed, power steering too much assisted, too loose. Not just unsatisfactory, but potentially dangerous. At least the Bimmer doesn't have the Vette's fishtail tendencies, which made for some hairy experiences. It's too bad, b/c the cornering grip on the 330 tires (Ci with SP) is just awesome.

You gotta figure there's at least a 50/50 chance the M3 will have similar steering traits, maybe even magnified due to increased power. If I had an M3 on order, I'd be very concerned, and eager to join my 330 brethren to influence BMW into a fix.
