... I think is standard) goes to Spartanburg instead of local dealer. You get a really full deal from them for just that cost if I am correct:
-- Dinner night before
-- Hotel night before
-- Pick up at airport, and pick up at hotel
-- 4 Main events during the day:
== Factory tour (this is the only mfgr site for Z3, X5)
== Centrum Museum of BMW history including a lot of interesting vehicles (I am assuming now)
== Sampling of driver's school in a car like the one you are picking up, including fast avoidance of water walls on a road, autocross-type cone coures, skip pad. All supervised and sped up by driver school instructors talking to you by walkie-talkie
== And, full check out of your car as it is delivered to you.

This is what I expect when we get our 330xi. A package of info is supposed to be ont he way to us now. If it is substantially diffeerent from the above, I am going to be highly surprised.

We've made all the arrangements to pick up our car in Spartanburg. We bought our car in Florida. On the car's pricing, it says we have to pay $350 for 'dealer prep' charges (i.e. them washing it, etc.)

Since we're not picking the car up at the dealer, we should not have to pay this, right?
