condensation from air conditioner. This is the way it is for all cars. Do not mention this or they will laugh at you behind your back.

Folks:
I am going to take my 330i in to the dealer for the following annoying issues tomorrow. Could any of you please comment if any of these are "normal" for the 330.

1) Lots of crackling noises coming from the underbody (seems like the catalytic convertor) when I turn the ignition off and get out of the car. Happens regardless of whether it is a short or long drive.

2) after the car is shut off, a lot of fluid (most likely water from the AC) leaks down from the car. Can this be normal? I thought only old ill-maintained cars did this!!

3) I still get pathetic mileage: 16-17 mpg. No matter what I do seems to change that. Changed driving style, changed between Shell, Mobil etc. No change.

4) and this is the most interesting. while driving, if I am wearning slippers or sandals, I feel a very mild current of warm air coming from the underbody into the cabin through where the acellerator/brake are.

Fortunately, I don't have any squeeks and rattles anywhere.

Still very happy with my car,
Harry in VA
