Pirellis kind of suck. Mine came with Bridgestones. Not a great tire, but is quiet and smooth and far better than any of the Pirelli junk that I have had in the past. BTW, the Bridgestones are made in France and not next to the Wilderness tires in Decatur.

BMW has 4 major suppliers: Michelin, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Conti, and maybe Pirelli (not as common these days). Michelin tends to be the best OEM stuff, but the Dunlop, Bridgestone, and Conti tires tend to be decent on the street as all around tires (but not great as max performance tires). Most Pirellis do not wear well and get louder as they wear.

I'm going to pick up my 2K 323Ci tomorrow (I had them put on a spoiler)and I noticed that my tires were Bridgestone's. I thought that most European Cars (BMW's included) come with Pirelli's.

I'd much rather have Pirelli's. I wanted to know if my dealer ripped me off with a switcheroo or if everyone else had these too.

Thanks.
