Since the BMW comes prewired for a CD changer can I assume I can hook in my SONY 10 disk changer in the trunk and run the changer/remote to driver compartment? Or must I hood the FM modulator into the back of the radio like I previously have done on my other cars?

don.t think sony will work with out FM modulator, which when used, if it can be cuts down on frequency response. you can get BMW 6 disck f0r 408 bucks at Pacific BMW or Circle BMW. direct wire full frequency.
