I did this too. Execpt mine was a cross pen, and I found out about this problem while trying to get my access card for the garage at work out of that little bin. I lost a few friends in the office because of the backup I caused that day.

Finally figured out the business card trick myself. Luckily I had one from the dealer in the cupholder. How random.
