what they said in the article is not really in dispute by other car mags. The Mercedes is really slow. 0-60 in about 9 seconds for the auto. This is unacceptable for a car that costs $30k. Honda Civics and Jettas will be blowing right by C-classes. And the v6 Camry is faster and more luxurious. I think Mercedes fails BIG time with this car. Its slow and handles nothing like a Bimmer.

The only good points I can think of is the prestige and overall look of the car. Its slow, handles rather mundanely, and expensive.
