I think it has plenty of power if you are looking for a nice luxury sedan. If you are looking for a sport type car then probably not. I have a 00 323i with step and I'm pleased with it. The engine is very smooth, which I like, but at times in certain situations it feels a bit sluggish but for the most part it feels very adequate for a nice luxury sedan.


I really want to get the 325 but it seems like every review I read of the 3 series, they always praise the 328/330 and say the 323 is underpowered, I have to get Step since my fiancee cant drive stick, for the ppl who have the 323, does it have adequate power? (ppl with the step) And what other cars were you looking at in that price range? Were talking close to 34k with the options I want, and also what about a used 2000 328 vs a 2001 325? Please dont flame.. Im just totallly confused.
