The extra weight of the 328 is too much for the mostest increase in power, resulting in a slower car.

If you don't mind the overboosted steering, then the 330 is the way to go.

As far as 323 vs. 325, even thought the hp has "increased" (many accounts have the 323 numbers understated), the PEAK torque has DECREASED. Some will say that the flatter torque curve makes the 325 better, but I don't think I'd take less peak torque with lighter steering no matter what other posters say.

I really want to get the 325 but it seems like every review I read of the 3 series, they always praise the 328/330 and say the 323 is underpowered, I have to get Step since my fiancee cant drive stick, for the ppl who have the 323, does it have adequate power? (ppl with the step) And what other cars were you looking at in that price range? Were talking close to 34k with the options I want, and also what about a used 2000 328 vs a 2001 325? Please dont flame.. Im just totallly confused.
