Coming from a 1995 325is... yes, the 330i was definitely overboosted, but not as bad as I feared. The accelerator and brakes were also very touchy, making it difficult to start or brake smoothly, but obviously I *know* I'll get used to that; it's a new car, after all, and everything is a little different. So similarly, I'll get used to the new steering.

I'll admit it, I'm used to firmer, so of course it felt a little weird, and I was a bit disappointed by it, but, I'm flexible, I can learn it, just like one learns a new gearbox or clutch. After owning the car for a little while, I'm sure it won't bother me at all. The car did not feel unstable in any way on the highway.

The engine, btw, sounds great. Much louder than the 328's.
