In Reply to: 328i 17" Sport Pack wheels for trade... posted by jedinite on October 01, 2000 at 22:13:38:

Just an FYI for those interested...

I have my set of 17" Sport Package wheels from my 2000 328i Sport Sedan. They are in perfect condition, with approx 3000 miles on them (i've had two sets of wheels/tires on my car, so I don't know approx mileage but is right around 3000).

The wheels and tires are in perfect condition, as evidenced by the pictures below and on my website.

I have no real attachment to these wheels. All I require is a set of good condition wheels/tires to replace them. I'm replacing mine with a set of BBS Challenges (18" for those who care, I've decided not to go 19"), and will be using the 17" set for snow tires come winter.

I would prefer a trade for a set of 17" wheels, because I want to keep my options open for a brake conversion to larger brakes. But I will take 16" wheels plus a reasonable amount of cash... make me an offer. For 17" wheels in similar condition, I'll trade straight up.

So... if you have the new "M-spoke" wheels, or some other 16" or 17" wheels you don't like and wish you had these, now you're in luck.

I've got friends who run a performance shop that sells a ton of wheels, so shipping is not a problem. I can ship mine first, you can ship yours back in my packing materials.

Anyways, no flames necessary. I don't want to sell these outright, unless you make an offer I can't refuse. So email me here if you're interested, click here if you don't ;) Feel free to post responses or questions, as well... but take any specific offers to the semi-privacy of email.
