I have a '00 328Ci (delivered in March) which I am financing through BMWFS. Like many of us, I want a ///M3! I probably wouldn't be able to get one one for 1.5 to 2 years since I'm not on a list yet. I know that this is probably dumb on my part since I'm not leasing my car, but what are the implications if any, and things I should take into account if want to get rid of my 328Ci for a M3? Can and should I trade into the dealer for the M3? If so, when (do I drive my car until it comes in)? Sell to someone else? I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thanks.
