A 3.6 degree lift would give a 1% error. only need a couple of % to get .3 or .4 seconds worth of error. I get 5.8 seconds from a Saab and 5.7 from a Toyota Supra TT, but on the road its not even close (saab gets beaten !!). The Saab lifts a lot on take off - the Supra doesn't.

Interestingly, UK magazines very rarely get close to the same figures as US magazines for the same car!!

Autocar quote 7.3seconds 0-60 for the 328i stick.
